Tuesday 8/4 (Today)
The canyon farm sells its own organic produce, eggs, flowers, sourdough, and jams twice a week. Free to walk in; parking is tight, so use the second driveway.
Wednesday 8/5
A free morning session for ages 0 to 3, run with the Ocean Institute; this one is all about deep sea vents. RSVP free at

Laguna's house band of 13 years plays their home stage and is debuting brand new songs. Tickets are a few bucks at
ticketweb.com.
Thursday 8/6
Galleries downtown and along gallery row on N Coast Hwy Thu evening
Once a month the galleries stay open late with receptions all over town, free, no tickets, just wander in. The Laguna Art Museum is free from 6 to 9pm and the city trolleys run free all evening.
An LA hip hop company opens Laguna Dance's new Summer Stage week by performing right on the sand, free, no tickets. Stick around after: they run a free dance workshop anyone can join.
Saturday 8/8
Kids 2 to 7 make glow in the dark stickers with Sunnyside's early childhood educators. Free, RSVP at
events.rivian.com.
The South Laguna spot celebrates 7 years with the Sunstroke Serenaders playing live. Free to walk in; order a lambrusco spritz or a frozen coconut marg and hang.

All three art festivals
All three on Laguna Canyon Rd Daily
All three are running at once, and all three are free for Laguna residents with ID.
Handmade everything, three music stages and a beer garden. Opens at 11am, runs to 8pm most nights and 10pm Friday and Saturday. Free for residents on Thursdays.
The formal one. 120 juried artists, most of them working right there at their booths.
The loosest of the three. 112 artists under a shaded canopy, margaritas, and drop in art classes. Open 10am to 8pm, and to 7pm on Sundays.
The living pictures show, where real people hold still inside frames and turn into famous paintings; this year pairs da Vinci's Last Supper with Warhol's 60 Last Suppers. Tickets at
foapom.com, and every ticket doubles as a season pass to the Fine Art Show.
Dinner at Kitchen in the Canyon
The breakfast and lunch spot at 845 Laguna Canyon Rd is adding dinner service with bold Mexican flavors. No opening date yet.
Truly Bagels
The team behind Truly Pizza is working on a bagel shop for South Laguna at 31727 Coast Hwy, the old Ti Amo space. Still no open date.
Surfing Heritage & Culture Center
The surf museum is taking over 239 Broadway St and its crew is over there building out the exhibits now. Still no opening date.

Small and clean early in the week, then a new long period south swell fills in Thursday night and peaks Friday and Saturday, waist to chest with bigger sets. Water is running low to mid 70s.

Local Wildlife
Dolphins are still the easy sighting, cruising in pods just past the surf line; bring binoculars to the Heisler Park bluffs. Blue whales are out there too, but far enough offshore that you'll want a whale boat out of Dana Point.
• Laguna is turning 100 The city set its official Centennial for June 29, 2027, one hundred years since incorporation, with a year of events starting January 2027.
